The current work of the Pretty Towers is a short film soundtrack titled Ester’s Flowers.

It tells the story of a group of friends in Adelaide that struggle through their youth, love and ill health.

The film characters experience jubilation, loss and their redemption. The smashing of a vase is the film’s final scene.

The feature soundtrack written by Mitchell Otto it is performed in studio by The Pretty Towers.

Ester’s Flowers shows that like a vase, when lost it is difficult to make new.

Intended for the Adelaide short film Festival 2026.

Recorded at late notice in a vacant studio Reality Calling deals with a loss of touch. Written and performed in February 2022 it consists of two tracks, Amber Red and Two Steps.

The Concept Album Beach is the Pretty Towers debut 2020 release.

The four-piece band's self-produced album tells the story of a beach town and the people that holiday there.

Influenced by David Bowie the band name combines the song Oh! You Pretty Things and a live show at the Tower Theatre.
